Twanna George (CRAM'S Computer Instructor & Board Member)
United Way of the Capitol Region's Volunteer of the Year (2009)
Twanna George received Adult Volunteer of the Year for her work with Christian Recovery Aftercare Ministry (CRAM), which provides support services to help ex-offenders successfully re-integrate into society. George, an ex-offender, has taken her life experiences and transformed them into positive programs and learning opportunities for clients of CRAM. She has developed a computer literacy curriculum for participants, serves as a peer mentor, helps write grants and is a member of CRAM’s Board of Directors.
