A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

We continue to provide services to our clients in an effort to reduce recidivism and promote a safer community.  However, we could not reach our goals without the partnerships and collaborations from agencies in the community.   

Through ongoing financial support of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, the SAMHSA federal grant, and many other foundations, individuals, volunteers, churches, and organizations, we can continue to work towards our mission and vision, that ex-offenders experience a successful return to the community.

Our partnerships and collaborations will continue to expand and grow, as we continue to strengthen our services.  It is a reality that we cannot do this alone and we look forward to the continued support from the community.

It is my ultimate vision, that CRAM expand to other counties in Pennsylvania, and eventually expand to other states.  Using CRAM as a model for other areas to create quality services for ex-offenders will provide a “win win” situation for the client and the community.

My most recent coordination of, Harrisburg-WE CONNECT (no known as Pennsylvania Connect Services), is a coalition that derived from my experience with the federal grant providers under SAMHSA.  Bringing together faith-based and community-based organizations, in collaboration with social/human service providers, is the only way we can experience “one community with one voice for one purpose…that purpose being to improve the outcomes of individuals and families affected by substance abuse, criminal activities, mental health and other co-occurring issues in our communities.  I look forward to many years of providing services for the “Betterment of the Community”.
